We have been working hard to flesh out new material for our debut album. It looks like our efforts have paid off and we have more than enough songs in our arsenal to head confidently into the studio. We are happy to be working with Eric Nelson at Eclipse Studio in Normal IL. Eclipse has a great reputation for putting out quality work. Grammy-Nominated engineer/producer/songwriter Erik Nelson has worked with major labels, independant, and local artist like Mathew Curry, Mudvayne, Boyz II Men, and Disney. We plan to get started in mid July. We will keep you posted as we make progress and get closer to a release date. Thanks for following along.

These first five five videos were recorded several years ago at Baxters in Bloomington, IL. when we played under the name The Chilli Dawgs. 

Friend of the band and one hell of a keyboard player Joey Bianco was with us at the time. 

We hope you enjoy the music. We hope to record some of our upcoming shows to add to the Youtube channel. 

And don't forget we will be appearing on WCIA Channel 3's CI Living on March 16th - 4:00 PM to promote the April 7th Paws For A Cause Benefit.

Here we go! Everything is coming online. Blacktop Audio is gearing up for big things ahead, but it all starts here. A new website means a new way to keep everyone posted on what is happening with Blacktop Audio. We are excited to get in touch with everyone and let you all know what is going on. 

So what is going on?

Song writing is #1 -
We are knocking out new tunes left and right. When we get done sorting the gems from the rubble we will put a polish on them and serve them up in a forthcoming album. Hopefully real soon.
